This notice explains how your personal data is processed in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 («KVKK») — the purposes of processing, to whom data may be transferred, and the rights available to you.

4. Legal Grounds
Identity and contact data are processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK on the grounds of performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation and legitimate interest.
Health data constitutes a special category of personal data and is processed under Article 6/3 of the KVKK by a physician bound by an obligation of medical confidentiality, for the purposes of diagnosis, treatment and care. Any processing outside this scope takes place only with your explicit consent.
Marketing communications and non-essential cookies rely solely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary and within the limits permitted by law, to the Turkish Ministry of Health and other authorised public institutions; to healthcare institutions and laboratories where treatment requires it; to legal counsel and competent authorities in the event of a dispute; and to website infrastructure and analytics service providers. Any transfer abroad is carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention Period
Health data is retained for the minimum periods prescribed by the Regulation on Personal Health Data and related legislation. Contact and appointment records are deleted, destroyed or anonymised within a reasonable period once the purpose of processing no longer applies.

- To learn whether your personal data is being processed and to request information about it
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
- To know the third parties to whom data has been transferred, in Turkey or abroad
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- To request erasure or destruction of data within the conditions set out in the legislation
- To request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties
- To object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis
- To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing
8. How to Submit a Request
Requests relating to your rights may be submitted, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by e-mail to info@semihguleser.com or in writing to the clinic address given above. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
